50 First Dates DVD box set as gift of Valentine’s Day

The Valentine’s Day of 2013 is around the corner. Are you ready? What kind of presents or surprises are for your lovers? Is it sexy lingerie, chocolate, flowers or a romantic candle dinner? All of what I want to recommend for this Valentine’s Day. In mu opinion, staying at your couch and watching the movie 50 First Dates DVD box set together with your lovers will be a warm and romantic thing.

50 First Dates is about a woman whose memory problem causes her to forget each new day once she falls asleep and a man whose burgeoning love for her causes him to forsake his old, womanizing ways and become a new person. The movie has a warm, strong heart and is often very funny, but it is marred by lots of foul language, light sexual innuendo, and objectionable attitudes toward sex.

This movie offers a twist from the typical Hollywood romance where couples are usually in bed barely after a date or two, Henry, because of the newness of each day, is actually unsuccessful in getting Lucy to sleep with him. In fact, as his real love for her grows his lust for her diminishes. There is one mostly-clothed bed scene but sex is not necessarily implied even though they do spend the night together. There are many romantic first kisses however and they do help to show the sex-right-now group that more is not necessarily better. Even Henry seems to grasp this point which would have seemed impossible from early scenes where several women are describing their brief steamy affair with the elusive Henry.

All in all, the plot was cute. I am so appreciate the way they solve the dilemma. To be frank speaking, it is very suitable and worthy to watch it with your partners.
